Mickey Keenan
Managing AttorneyIn 1994, Mickey, a native New Yorker, enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and relocated to Tampa, Florida to attend college. Prior to the start of school, Mickey deployed to Haiti for Operation Uphold Democracy. Upon his return, he began studies at Hillsborough Community College, then the University of South Florida (USF). After graduating USF, Mickey started law school at the Levin College of Law, University of Florida. In 2003, while in the final semester of Law School, Mickey was once again called to service with the Army, deploying this time to the Middle East for duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom This final deployment redefined Mickey’s life and legal career. Mickey returned from his service in the Middle East and began his legal career practicing insurance defense work, first as an Associate, at Gallagher & Howard, then as a Partner in Gallagher & Keenan. With this line of work, something was missing, he felt the need to give back, to help others. In 2014, Mickey founded MICKEY KEENAN, P.A. The mission to provide personal care to each client, to treat all clients like family. The entire team is available for each and every client. We believe when an accident happens, our family is your family. You can trust our team to help with needs from obtaining a rental car, to receiving proper medical care, and of course, the reward of fair compensation through a settlement or at trial for injuries sustained in an accident. Service in the Army and the deployments and experiences that service brought, provided a new appreciation for the gifts and good fortune he has been provided.
